The Rolling Stones: The Bridges to Babylon Tour

Smoothly edited…this is a terrific concert of unrelenting flash and energy, crammed with fresh-sounding performances of aging favorites. – New York Times

This ninety minute concert was taped in St. Louis during the Stones’ critically acclaimed “Bridges to Babylon” performance in 1997. KCET’s edited presentation of the performance marked the broadcast network premiere of the program.  The Bridges to Babylon Tour was the largest Rolling Stones tour at that time. It was believed 4,577,000 people attended the tour over 108 shows in 25 countries.
